Bedarra Dome Tent

The Bedarra is Outdoor Connection’s premium two room tent. The rear bedroom has unique Ventraflow panels, two large windows & a large rear Omega door to give maximum cooling for hot Australian summer nights. Internal window & door covers allow ready privacy & also give protection from drafts on cold winter nights. The front room features mesh walls, two side doors & a large door for excellent ventilation. Optional Awning Side Walls will give added protection to the awning area. This gives a proper all weather awning area not found on other dome tents.

 

100 Denier Hi Count fabric on the outer fly gives superior strength, durability & 3000mm waterproofing. The use of Outdoor Connection’s unique UV-PROTEK treatment provides maximum resistance to fabric degradation from the damaging effects of UV light giving longer life to your investment. The Hornet pole system, with a centre ridge pole & six rib construction, gives excellent strength & stability while creating near vertical side walls for exceptional internal space & headroom.

Features:

 
  1. Two large rooms 270 + 210cm x 260cm wide.  The front room is a ‘screen room’ giving a real ‘outdoor’ feeling.  The rear room will easily fit a queen bed lengthwise.
  2. The end walls are only mildly sloping maintaining a good head height almost the entire length of the tent.  This makes dor a much greater usable area in both rooms and a cooler more comfortable, open environment.
  3. 210cm internal centre height.
  4. Tent Fabric of densely woven extra strong 100 Denier HiCount polyester with UV-PROTEK giving maximum resistance to fading and UV degradation.  Especially important for superior longevity in harsh conditions.  Water Head of 3000mm + is the highest grade waterproofing treatment on any commercial tent fabric in Australia ensuring excellent rain protection even in the heaviest of tropical downpours.  The fabric is also treated with fire retardant for your safety.
  5. Heat Taped seams ensure that water protection supplied by the fabric is equalled on the seams.
  6. Hornet Pole System is very simple to erect.  The Hornet Pole system includes a centre ridge pole creates outstanding stability and the system helps maintain the height out towards the side walls creating near vertical side walls for exception internal space.  Firbreglass poles are 12.7mm diameter for strength & stability.
  7. Ventraflow panels in the bedroom ensure you get cool air at bed height.  Ventraflow panels have ‘Zip-Up’ internal privacy covers which zip from the bottom up if you wish to raise the window height in cool conditions. 
  8. Large windows on both sides of the bedroom.  Windows have ‘Zip-Up’ internal privacy screens and the outside awning is eyeleted so that it can be pegged out.
  9. Large side doors on each side of the ‘living room’ for maximum ventilation in all directions.
  10. Omega door at each end of the tent so that there is maximum ventilation from all directions.  The bedroom Omega doors have privacy screens.
  11. The end Omega doors are covered by an external door in the fly which can be erected as an awning.  These awnings feature a three eyelet system and are sewn to the body of the tent in Outdoor Connection’s unique design so that the awning has a peak along its length and can be set up to allow water to run off during showers.  Optional Awning Side Walls can be attached adding protection to the awning area, creating a proper all weather awning not found on other dome tents.
  12. Three height-adjustable awning poles are provided.
  13. All door and window mesh is No –See-Um ultrafine mesh.
  14. Power Cord access x 2.
  15. Door Locks for security while you are away.
  16. Organising pockets provided to keep those small items from being scattered..
